Hi All,
I will be resurrecting the Galway branch of Python Ireland this Friday at 7pm. Michael Foord author of IronPython in Action and numerous Python modules
including mock, ConfigObj, unittest2 and psyco among others is in Galway
this Friday for work So in his honour we will be having the next Galway Python Ireland meetup.
I am not sure yet what will be organized but we will definitely be in town from 7pm for a chat and drink or two. I will let you all know what is planned once I know, I just want anyone who is interested in meeting Michael Foord and/or interested in Python community or programming to know that we will be in town and you are more then welcome to join us.

Beginners more then welcome, Python Ireland is more about the community of users then about the language. If you have a passing interest then you might develop the interest to learn more, maybe.
