*New Group: Knitting Circle’s First Meeting - Sat Sept 15th @ 4pm
The new knitting circle will have its inaugural meeting at the labs on Saturday, September 15th from 4 to 7pm. The knitting circle is open to knitters of all skill levels. It will provide a social and collaborative workspace, and help will be available for people just starting out. After this first meeting, we expect to hold regular monthly meetings.
All attendees are expected to bring their own supplies. Attendance is free for members, and €2 for everyone else.*

Knitting in the round is generally pretty simple, once you get the hang of
it. It's what's used to make gloves and socks and hats, just knitting a
tube instead flat. I think the harder part of that scarf is the colors, but
that's mainly because I don't generally have the patience for long,
complicated designs. (That's why I like gloves. They're finished fairly
quickly).
