New! Google has integrated the full Usenet archive formerly maintained by Deja.com with recent posts to provide complete access to Usenet data since 1995. Now when you search or browse Google Groups, you access the largest collection of postings on the web, containing more than 650 million messages (over a terabyte of human conversation).

We hope you will find this improved Usenet service of value. Google is committed to making Google Groups the best source of Usenet postings on the web and to that end, we have been working non-stop to integrate this archival data and add posting functionality. With the completion of the archive project, we expect to offer posting by no later than mid-May.
