My original plan was to go back to posting on-topic and abuse reports, but
it seems that a higher power has stepped in to take that last duty off my
hands (members.tripod.com/netfbi) At last check, Avenger was the only one
on the site, but there are other names there - I have to assume that more
abuse complaints are forthcoming.
So, I go back to posting strictly on-topic. And I'll be adding my voice
to that of netfbi, in any capacity I can. Thank you ever so much to the
people that have e-mailed NCSU in my *defense* - hopefully, when I see
them tomorrow, we'll be able to work something out.
As for Mr. Kelleher, you will be hearing from my Florida attorney in due
time. This is a very touchy case, as there is no legal precedent for it,
and so we will proceed slowly - but surely.
To everyone else, all apologies.

I'm certainly learning new and interesting things about human nature here, in a
sense. I'm amazed at how pathetic all of this really is.
Sure, there were flamewars in the old days. Barnett/Taskmistress,
Evan/Taskmistress, Evan/Everyone. Even I had a couple, including one with Jack
Epstein that was pretty nifty. But there seemed to be unspoken rules of conduct
then, even still.
You could say any kind of shit to whomever, and pretty much get away with it
(although you'd get censured by the old-school people). But the flamewars took
a turn for the more personal, in my opinion, when Liz Michaels cropped up. All
of a sudden, you started to have challenges for real life fights and identity
exposures and shit along those lines. To be sure, Barnett and Schlesinger did
their parts as well.
But all that old-school mid 90s stuff is small potatoes compared to the crap
that's happening now. Lawsuits, people losing jobs, Michael Gross being ratted
out to his rents; it's all very sordid. And something I cant help but watch.
In a few months, or a year, we might have our first RSPW related murder
(besides that guy who tried to kill Debbie Gibson on behalf of the Ultimate
Warrior). One poster gunning down another. It's like witnessing a microcosm of
the degradation of the American spirit.

Uhhhhhhhhhhh.....nah, not really. Most of that had an element of "this is a

a badass to some who got in my face. None of us ever published addresses and

He never tried to KILL Gibson, nor did he do it in the name "of the
Warrior." Michael Faulkner only tried to stalk Debbie Gibson, not harm
her. Supposedly he did it just to get her attention; there was never
any REAL involvement there from a third party, ala Jodie Foster &
Reagan.

If these were actual flames, Mr. Saladin would currently be subject to
lawsuit by Messrs. Damian, Holcomb and Brownstein, Esq,
Squadders-At-Law, in addition to losing his job as Mindy Cohn's
gravesite attendant. Poor Haiti would likely be held as an accomplice.

Seriously, I'm amazed how much time people have for this. It would make a
kickass ethnography.

It was a joke. Really. I heart irony.
None of these are my fights, understand. I'm just commenting on them, and
observing the trajectory of heat. This is a kultur where a Senator was beaten
all to heck on the Senate floor, so the white trash on this NG rumbling isn't
surprising, but diverting in a dark sense.

Well, it was really cutting edge stuff for its time, and the kids of today

It wasn't a work on the level of we strategized exactly what we were going to
do once a week and decided on strategies and stuff. It wasn't choreographed.
But Bob told me he was going to do it and I agreed he should. Ergo, it is a
work, no matter how free flowing.
>>Evan/Taskmistress wasn't, unless

Well, Evan predated me by quite a bit. I actually have heard through the
grapevine that Evan is a real person in the show businees industry and that he
still lurks and watches. Evan was good, and most of my critics who have
followed him pale in comparison to the original.

Tony, should I ever succeed in being a wrestling personality, I have already, a
heel gimmick which is irresistible, and a crowd chant which might catch on more
than "Rocky Sucks". I smile whenever I forsee the undeniable crowd chant
LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRYYYY!!! LLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRYYYYY!!! And it will
happen if there's any money in it to.
Plus vis a vis Chad, John Henry, myself, and Avenger. Either one of us is
playing the other three or somebody else is playing the four of us against each
other.
The thick plottens.
Hey, I'm not gonna touch Robbie Hill. He's a basic libertarian and I want him
to become Prime Minister. I don't give a shit if he hates me, he'll do in
office what I want done.
That's not the shit i'm talking about. I'm talking about when Pete first
started this thing with you way back 16 months ago. THAT was the key feud that
altered the demeanor of this group. Not anything I did.

I do NOT HATE YOU.
I hate some aspects of your on screen persona and sometimes I let you
have it with both barrels sure, but then you can take that. You have,
over the time you have been here, dished out far worse than you have
taken.
I actually admire the way you have set up your own business and are
working towards your goal of riches and wealth. I genuinely hope you
make a success of it too. I also have a sneaking admiration for you.

I can see that. Sorry I bit your head off - as you can imagine, I've been
rather high-strung for the last couple of days. However, I've come to a
decision; forgiveness is the key to personal serenity.

Liz has the scoop on Evan, but it amuses me how Bureau was all Jesus Freak with
his postings for a long time, standing behind Marc Mero as he left WCW for not
wanting to work an angle where he took Kimberly from DDP (morals and all that).
FFWD 3 years. Sable is Sable, Mero is forgotten, the Christian thing from Mero
is as forgotten as the Blu twins, and Bureau is nowhere to be found.
>Sable is Sable, Mero is forgotten, the Christian thing from Mero

Mark Bureau is a great guy who has gone through some intense things in his
personal life in the recent past. Things that, I suppose, have made RSPW not
such a high priority for him anymore. I, for one, miss "Bu's Views" and
would love to see him back here.
As someone who knows him just a little bit, I can assure you that being
unwilling or unable to defend his beliefs (which I don't share, BTW) have
*nothing* to do with why he hasn't been around here lately.

Come on Ripclawe, who didn't Evan Schlesinger have a flamewar with on
this group at one time or another. I remember a particularly comic one
between him and Cannonbawlzac. It ended with Cannonbawlzac leaving the
group in a sulk ;)
Evan was a class flamer, just ask Liz ;)
