Yo.

I happened across the thread about facebook and stuff from christmas
eve while doing a routine google check for myself, and thought I'd
stop in.

Yeah, I'm pretty active on Facebook. http://www.facebook.com/lowgenius

You can follow me on Twitter: http://twitter.com/lowgenius

You can also follow me on Google: http://www.google.com/profiles/lowgenius

I'm currently driving a taxi to keep myself in ramen noodles and beer
while trying to do a whole bunch of other things that may or may not
fail miserably but will be great fun. You can find out all about that
and much more at http://www.lowgenius.net There and FB are probably
the best places to "keep up" with me.

I've published a few videos, inspired by the original KORSPW vid
("There's a few things about rec.sport.pro-wrestling that really piss
me off...") You can find those, plus some others including recent
footage of me playing drums (sorta) at http://www.youtube.com/lowgenius

I VERY rarely bother watching any wrestling any more, although Bret's
recent return caught my eye for a sec.

Being part of RSPW, and of the wrestling business, changed my life in
a lot of ways. Those of you who relentlessly disagreed with me and
actually put a little thought into it (as opposed to the cadre of
weirdos who just obsessed over me) did much to sharpen not only my
rhetorical skills but my overall logical skills. You forced me to
grow from an angry ranting punk just like a million other impotent
loudmouths to someone who can and does defend my positions with facts,
and works hard to use those facts and many other tools to make
positive changes in the world. So thanks for that.

As a few of you might be aware, I moved briefly last year to Winters,
CA before getting jerked around hard, thrown under a bus, and begging
my way back across the country to my home town of Kalamazoo, MI. If
anyone sees Ahmed Johnson's Beer Belly, tell him I said get in touch
next time he's in town. I'm easy to find.

Most of the people I was in the business with thought I was a stupid
mark then, and probably still do, and they were probably right. I
hear very little from anyone. Honestly I don't want to unless it
involves a lot of money, and there's no reason it would.

That whole period of my life was depressing and lost and fucked up and
I was mostly out of my damn mind, and while it's a shame that there
will certainly never be a back-slapping reunion of the originally-
designated "O-Mega Powers," (Matt & Jeff Hady, Shane Helms, Shannon
Moore, Joey "Mercury" Matthews, Christian York, Toad, Jason "Joey Abs/
Venom" Ahrndt, Otto Schwanz/Bo Dupp, Mike Maverick/Jack Dupp, Marty
"Cham Pain" Garner, Lexie Fyfe, and Yours Truly - in other words, the
group of rasslers and others that usually had IHOP or Waffle House
together after a show @ SCW or OMEGA for a while), that's just how
life goes sometimes.

It did generate some interesting posts here.

On the one hand I had a good time, on the other hand I'm embarrassed
by a lot of my behavior during that period of my life and humiliated
by the extent to which, I've come to realize, most of those guys
thought I was just some stupid mark who had never done shit and never
would, but was a useful niche marketing tool for free or close to it.
It's not something I reminisce fondly about very often.

I became a grandfather in August of last year. My granddaughter's
birthday is a few days before mine, so that's kinda neat. She's also
perfect and amazing in every single possible way, has already
graduated high school, and is working on her doctorate in theoretical
physics because that's just how much ass my chromosomes kick. Also,
she's taller than Dink.

My mom was diagnosed with explosive cancer throughout her body in
early December of last year, and died on Christmas Eve. Being the
broke-ass I am, of course, I was not able to be there. Then again
that's probably for the best. Me and my mom never got along very
well. But, since she provided so much entertainment for y'all over
the years, I thought you should know.

Obviously, I have not yet mastered the art of brevity, even in this
betwittered SMS world.

Anyone (other than Dink and Cypher, those two assclowns need to
maintain three degrees and five hundred yards of separation forever)
is always welcome to get in touch, add me on your favorite social
network, whatever. Especially if you're in a position of having
enough money to want to give MAJOR - like six figure - support to a
non-profit devoted to developing the Kalamazoo area as a worldwide
talent incubator for rock, pop, blues, country, and other musicians.
But even if you're broke and just want to say hi, that's cool too.

If you want to respond, CC me at the posting address if you don't
mind? I *seriously* don't even have Usenet access anymore other than
via Google, and have no intention of acquiring it.

My best to you all (except YOU!),

OK, someone explain to me the sordid and vibrant history of John Henry
on RSPW.

There's not much to say. He and Chad are gay lovers. End of discussion

Pete Panaro worshiped the guy so much that he made a graphic of JH on
a cross (with Chad crying) and posted it here. JH died for our sins.

Oh yes! The YouTube video which made him into a legend around these
parts. Won him that year's KORSPW.

Whenever Chad gets his his ass kicked from one side of the room to the
other, count on him calling out reinforcements named John Henry.
