Hello everyone,

Does someone know about a program acting like TASK MANAGER of Winnt on Win95
?

I need to know how many memory and CPU time is used in the mean time.

Thank you.

Windows 95 comes with System Monitor, sysmon.exe. If you don't have it
installed, you can add it to your Windows setup via Add/Remove Programs,
Windows Setup tab in the Control Panel. You can use it to track
resources. It can't kill a process like the NT task manager can.

Thank you, I just found it (sysmon.exe) and another program also, that
is Resource meter (rsrcmtr.exe).

Another problem: I want to figure out how much memory and CPU time which
are used by a program or a process on Windows 95. This can view by the
tap "Processes" of Winnt Task manager.

Any idea ?

The wintop kernel toy will show you CPU time and usage, broken down to the
threads:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/downloads/contents/WUToys/W95KernelToy/
Default.asp

It's listed as Windows Process Watcher. Off hand I don't know of one that
breaks down the memory usage to each process.

My apologies, wintop does include some memory information. If you right
click on the program in wintop and choose Properties, you will see some of
its memory info, although it is incomplete.
