George Brown愀 less-than-wonderful school the International College of
Hotel Management in Adelaide gives out life credit, so what is your
opinion on that "BGT"?

George Brown himself would be welcome to post his own opinions, but he
vanished along with his website and his credibility after his dodgey
dealings were pointed out on this NG.

And even if it isnt a degree mill, any school that gives out life
credit is,
in my own opinion, not a quality program.

Hi BGT,

I am surprised that you have never heard of the International College
of Hotel Management Incorporated in Adelaide.

It is one of the best diploma mills ever devised (except for the fact
that it lost 1.8 million dollars of taxpayers' money). One of the
clever people behind it is none other than former a.e.d. and
degreeinfo.com contributor George Brown. George Brown used to run a
site www.virtualuniversities.net is which he had a guide on how to
spot a degree mill.

Unfortunately for George Brown, when the criteria (such as operating
from a PO Box, being an incorporated company, allowing life experience
credits and allowing graduation entirely online) were applied to the
ICHM where he worked, it was rated as a DEGREE MILL. This was
according to George Brown's own criteria which he had used for years
to label other institutions degree mills.

This was unfortunate as George Brown was being groomed as the heir
apparent to Dr John Bear who had to disappear as well after his honety
was called into question, links with degree mills exposed along with
his penchant for prostitutes. Most supporters of George Brown and John
Bear have been exposed as sexual deviants, perverts, felons and
racists.

It turns out that George Brown, as the "online content manager" at the
ICHM, was selling 26 week bachelor degrees to draft dodging Asians for
$11,500 completely against the rules. This was in addition to the
dressing up of cheap TAFE courses that were sold on as degrees in the
same way.

A clear death threat was issued online to a poster called Benny
advising him to "get over it or die". This is the SECOND time George
Brown has been involved with issuing death threats online.

The long and the short of it is that www.virtualuniversities.net
disappeared, George Brown disappeared the .com, .com.au and the .edu
websites of the ICHM disappeared and an investigation was launched
into the activities of the ICHM in general and George Brown in
particular.

George Brown has been "helping police with their enquiries" and has
recently been allowed out. The enquiries center around the loss of
$1.8 million dollars of public money caused by incompetent management
covered up with fraudulent accounting. The South Australian Government
was conned by George Brown and some dodgy convicted felons into
backing the scheme with promises of huge returns that could only ever
have happened if the ICHM broke its own rules. The loss of $1.8
million dollars was the direct result.

Revised versions of the ICHM sites have been restored and on his
release George Brown erected a home page to replace the ERROR:404
OBJECT NOT FOUND message which was there for two months.

Questions in this newsgroup, and one on degreeinfo.com asking George
Brown to post up and explain himself, or even to post up and deny the
allegations have gone unanswered.

Currently the only poster to challenge the above accusations is
"nobody" at xganon.com.

A small point to note. This newsgroup used to be plagued by spam
postings through an anonimizer which would swing into action whenever
George Brown was criticised. They all used to start "What a Buffoon I
have been...".

When George Brown disappeared, so did the anonymous poster.

Coincidence?

Go to googlegroups (deja.com) and type in a few key words from the
above explanation and you will see what I mean.
