Hi everyone,

I have 2 graduate positions available in my lab starting next summer or fall (2024) for projects on coastal sediment dynamics, including work with the Beaufort Lagoon LTER in northern Alaska, a sensor network in coastal Oregon, or fjord work in Greenland. We routinely conduct field work, do lab-based sedimentology and isotope analyses, and analyze time-series data using common coding platforms. Our work tends to be interdisciplinary with a focus on sedimentology and coastal oceanography, and connections to coastal modeling, physical oceanography, engineering, and ecology. Students typically enroll in the OEAS or Geology degree programs in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences (OSU). Please contact me if interested.
