My new app is out.  It puts geotagged Flickr photos on a Google map of the world.  It's fun because you can explore any part of the word, seeing both satellite imagery and Flickr photos.  Attached is a screenshot.  Get the app here:  http://flickrphotomap.com/get

I hope you enjoy it,

Cheers,

Tyler

Thanks Tory.  I forgot to mention, for those of you without iDevices, there is a video demo on the site:  http://flickrphotomap.com/video-demo/

Tyler:

As a repeat user of the app, is there a way to bring up fresh images each time? It seems like when I open tothe same zoom area, the same images are there a few days later.

Just a thought.

Also, I keep wanting to just click on images to open them instead of the "i" button.

Have you seen the official flickr app? the mapping is poor orf course, but the handling of images is so very nice.

Roy

Hey, are you ready for a WEdtech?

I would agree with new images and double tap to open the image instead of the "i". When I think of "i", I think of getting the specs and other info for the photo, not viewing.

Yeah, 1 click to bigger images might be coming in the next release.  Thanks for the feedback.

I can do Wedtech.

Bringing up fresh images each time could be another feature for the next version.  I could easily implement a way to sort by date range etc.
