teacher George Casella, from the University of Florida. The course is based
on material from the book *Introducing Monte Carlo Methods with

Christian Robert and Casella. Copies of all slides will be provided,
as
well as all R code. Course topics include a review of R syntax and
functions, Monte Carlo integration and optimization, and MCMC, including
several algorithms and techniques for diagnosing convergence. Course
