We've often discussed the silliness of CDMA vs GSM.  Google just made it real.

TCP/IP proved long ago that a single standard far overrides "superior" technology if it offers ubiquity.  I guess the old betamax vs vhs was similar.

The point is "mobile".  Like in another city.  State. Country.  Planet?
