Hello PPA, Jr. Families!

A parent reported to me that her child has head lice. We have not had any other reports and have seen no signs, but please check your student's hair some time today! If you discover head lice, you can purchase the treatment at any pharmacy. Should you discover any nits or lice, please do not keep it a secret; let the school know so we can track the number of cases. Head lice is not carried on the heads of dirty hair, but are most often found in clean hair.

Please encourage your child not to share combs, brushes, hats, etc. Additionally, no stuffed toys should be brought to school including the little ones that hang from back packs.
