Good Evening,

From the number of emails I have received, the rumor mill is churning, so I
thought I would go ahead and address the questions to everyone.

There has been no change to the supplier of our uniforms. It is still Allen
Sports. I stopped in the other day and they had a rack of capris marked
down to $10, so I added them to the choices, but that has been the only
change that has been made.

Another rumor I would like to dispel is that students are moved up on the
waiting list if  they test well or are gifted. This is not true. PPA is a
lottery based entrance... period. The only way we have movement down on our
list is if parents do not notify us of siblings. When that happens a number
is drawn and they move to the place where the number would numerically fall
among siblings. This had happened this year and has caused a few families
to have movement to a higher wait list number.

I'd also like to take this time to thank you all for a great year. I feel
very blessed to have such caring and dedicated parents and students.
