My name is Marshall Bailly, and I serve as the Executive Director of Leadership Initiatives, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering exceptional high school students. Our mission is to provide transformative opportunities that offer real-world experience, help students explore potential career paths, and cultivate essential leadership skills. Through our Summer Internship Programs at Georgetown University, we equip the next generation of leaders with the knowledge, confidence, and tools they need to thrive and make a lasting impact on their futures.

We are reaching out to you as the advisor of CTE to nominate outstanding students for scholarships to attend our internship programs at Georgetown University. These scholarships cover full tuition, meals, and accommodations, providing students with an incredible opportunity to participate in our internship programs in Washington, DC.

You can view all of our full-tuition scholarships on the 2026 Leadership Initiatives Scholarship Website here. You can also review the 2025 Full Scholarship Recipients here and the 2024 Full Scholarship Recipients here

We encourage you to review each scholarship and nominate students who demonstrate a strong interest in business, law, medicine, security, or the STEM field. You can nominate students by selecting the nomination button for the scholarship on the 2026 Scholarship Website

Scholarship recipients will be chosen based on a combination of academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, commitment to community service, and personal merit. We seek individuals who not only excel academically but also exhibit a passion for making a positive impact on the world. Our goal is to foster a diverse and inclusive community of future leaders and change-makers.

About Leadership Initiatives’ Summer Internship Programs

Our Summer Internships are held at Georgetown University. Interns attending our programs will join other motivated students from around the world and spend their summer gaining real-world experience to set themselves apart from their peers in college and employers. Unlike other education programs where simulations are the key component, our students hold internships with real law firms, business development organizations, security agencies, and hospitals to build their resume and their knowledge.

Interns receive one-on-one college application assistance from top admissions experts at CollegeAdvisor, college application training, and unlimited essay editing assistance with admissions experts from Georgetown University, Harvard University, Emory University, and more, SAT/ACT Training through our partners at PrepScholar, as well as letters of recommendation, resume editing, and scholarship application assistance from our mentors. These benefits remain available for four years to allow all interns access to succeed throughout the college admissions process.

Leadership Initiatives has successfully run Summer Internship Programs at Georgetown, Harvard, UCLA, Stanford, The University of Chicago, and Emory. We are happy to connect you with past students, parents, business partners, and board members as references on our past work and the impact it can have on assisting students to achieve their university and career goals.

If you have any questions about this opportunity, please schedule a call with us here or call the Leadership Initiatives office at 202-738-1115

Wishing you a wonderful day,

Marshall
