When starting ESR 91.3.0 on Linux (CentOS 7.9) - using X forwarding over ssh - I get the following 'error' output:

Crash Annotation GraphicsCriticalError: |[0][GFX1-]: glxtest: X error, error_code=1, request_code=143, minor_code=32 (t=3.62106) [GFX1-]: glxtest: X error, error_code=1, request_code=143, minor_code=32
Crash Annotation GraphicsCriticalError: |[0][GFX1-]: glxtest: X error, error_code=1, request_code=143, minor_code=32 (t=3.62106) |[1][GFX1-]: glxtest: process failed (exited with status 1) (t=3.62114) [GFX1-]: glxtest: process failed (exited with status 1)

Firefox appears to start fine and work as usual

However, doing the same with ESR 91.2.0, doesn't output these errors

Starting ESR 91.3.0 on a Linux workstation when not using ssh X forwarding, doesn't give this error

I'm assuming the error is harmless?

Should this be reported as a 'bug' ?

Thanks

James Pearson

I imagine that will break some (possibly 3D or Canvas) webpage
for some graphics card/chip.
My guess is that firefox will catch any crash that provokes,
but that is a guess.

Off-topic for this list, but probably related,
on startup the new Firefox 94.0+build3-0ubuntu0.21.10.1
reports
ATTENTION: default value of option mesa_glthread overridden by
environment.
which Firefox 93 did not (this is Ubuntu 21.10 with Intel video).
