I have a favorite bike route - about 4 miles out along the coast, past the botanical gardens and up to a cliff overlook. On the way back as I rode back into the residential/condo beach area I caught out of the corner of my eye a familiar looking blue tie-dye shirt... that said Go Ride! on the back... huh, cartoon double-take... and Owyhee Fandango on the front! it was Jeff Hartford and Mary Hafer - fellow endurance riders from Idaho - just arrived here on Kauai for a couple weeks.
