Cool, the cadence of his walk is perfect!

Hi Steph,

When I click on the horse, the page I get is "Untitled" and totally blank. What
settings do I need to change to see your animation?

It's a browser thing. The animations use html5 - which is not fully supported across the browser world (yet). The newest versions of firefox and chrome support it fully, I'm not sure about IE. Old versions of firefox probably do not. (but it's easy to update to the recent versions).

I'm sort of ahead of the game with this stuff...

You should make a smartphone app/game out of this :)

Steph is working in HTML5 which is the newest 'standard' for web browsers. Unfortunately not all web browsers are compatible with it.
If you are having issues try this first:
http://www.html5test.com/
If you get a low score, consider downloading a newer browser that is still under development.

My firefox 9 scored 315 + 9 bonus points
my IE6 on win xp scored nothing as the page would not display.

Great webpage. Thx !! My IE7 scored 26 and no bonus points.

I downloaded Firefox months ago because I really wanted it but it won't install
:( I suppose I could try a fresh dl and install & hope whatever didn't work
before has magically gotten fixed... but not holding my breath.

There are several options available to ALL operating systems
Google Chrome 16.0 373 15
Mozilla Firefox 9.0 330 9
Opera 11.60 329 9
Apple Safari 5.1 302 7
Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 141 5

All but IE of the above will run on Windows/MacOS most will run on a*nix os (which is not most of this group I would bet)

I've got FF9.x running on XP sp3, not sure it will run on W2K but you could download it an check.
-------------------------------

Something to consider everyone. If you can't run HTML5 on your browser, your web browser is likely open to holes into your OS. If you browse the web lots (like most) the pain of upgrading your browser is more than outweighed by the protection, much less the new features.

Can't upgrade your OS because of hardware? find a local geek and move yourself to something other than win or mac.

I'm serious. Move yourself outside the attack cloud.

Well, I downloaded FF 9.0.1 and somehow got it to work (still not sure how).
Anyway, my score was the same as Bills, ie, 315 and 9 Bonus points, but Steph's
animation still doesn't work.

What next?

I use google chrome ... after the bird lands on the horse, the horse keeps
walking but nothing else happens.
