Debian-based stemcells?

A few months ago there was a short discussion on stemcells for debian
distros which ended with something that looked like "in progress". We
have a SLES-based standard distro that we'd like to deploy with bosh.
Have there been any updates with regard to supporting other stemcells?

Sorry, that should have read "non-debian distros".

Edgar,
we (the bosh team) are not actively working on adding support for
another operating system as we have other things we need to prioritize
first, but we would welcome community contribution in this area :)
