How to emerge package to image

Hi all,
I try to compile and install some packages(opengles and bootchart) to image, and find that the packages build successfully but fail to install.
Is there someone meet the same issue or know how to fix this issue? Thanks a lot!
BTW, The image build with no verification ( ./build_image --board=${BOARD} test --noenable_rootfs_verification).
