I downloaded the source code and bulided it successfully, then writed
the image to USB disk.
But it can not boot to Chromium OS from USB disk.
Would you kindly give me some suggestion, thank you very much.

Hi,

Unfortunately, Cedar Trail uses non-open PowerVR graphics drivers that
are not available for Chromium OS.

Hi, Olof

Yes, I knew that Intel will not release Linux VGA driver, it included
in Meego.
But CedarTrail is the Intel latest netbook platform, will Chromium OS
project support it soon?
At leaset, can boot into Chromium OS, like others linux distribute.
(Ubuntu, Opensuse...)

Unfortunately, Chromium OS, especially now after the UI refresh, is
quite heavy on use of OpenGL/GLES support by the graphics stack.

So, while it could be possible to boot it using software rendering
(mesa fallback), it would not be a pleasant user experience.

Traditional linux desktops perform quite well with just regular
unaccellerated 2D framebuffer graphics, but we've chosen to optimize
for using the hardware on Chrom{e,ium} OS.

As for plans, there's not much I can say on that front (neither to
confirm nor deny), since it could possibly also involve Chrome OS
partner plans. Maybe you could see if Intel has plans on releasing an
open X server for the platform, that would make it feasible to
incorporate the platform support in Chromium OS.
