I have a new 15 gb flash drive that I plugged in and I downloaded the recovery device, it downloaded perfectly on my clean flash drive.

After verification, did it display any other messages? The next
message is supposed to say "System recovery is in progress".

If anyone would be willing to help me with this computer I would be more than grateful. What can I do? I just bought a new flash drive so there is nothing wrong with it. I am also using my mom's work computer in order to download the recovery tool.

The recovery process isn't supposed to fail on working
hardware. It's dangerous to say "I have faith in the software",
but based on your description, it sounds more likely to be a
problem with the hardware. For that, I believe you'll need to
contact Acer support.
