Hello,

I have been trying desperately for days now to set up Chromium OS as a Tri-Boot on my 2010 Macbook. It refuses to get to the desktop though. I boot the created live USB which usually goes off without a hitch (though I have to sign off and sign back in as root) and I get past the selection screen where I select "A" and the Chromium logo shows up with the white background then I get the black screen which eventually allows me to Ctrl+Alt+F2 to access the terminal. I cannot get past this point at all through the Hexxeh builds of Chromium. I can however boot Ubuntu 12.04 just fine with full acceleration.

I was wondering if I builds a custom image from a brand-new copy of Ubuntu if it would have any more success than what I'm having right now.
I'm really looking to make this work on this computer even if it takes a little bit of time and tweaking.

Any ideas or suggestions are guesses on the subject be very appreciated because right now I'm at a loss.

TL;DR Ubuntu runs fine. Chromium OS does not. Would building my own Chromium off of a Ubuntu image help the issue
