Hi all,

i want to build chromium OS for a different board (other than arm).

how can i make new overlay for the same. i.e. want to build chromium os by new toolchain.

To start you could find an overlay that is similar to what you want and make a copy of it, there are a few other places that may need pieces added to get everything working but they are not typically that deeply complex, looking through the git logs may be helpful. Regarding the toolchain if you can get it into your chroot build environment path (may be able to emerge it even) you can leverage it with the toolchain.conf file in the overlay.

For an initial hack at this you could try just editing an existing overlay to work for your new board/toolchain.
