Which SIM are you using? Have you set the APN correctly? Is roaming
enabled on this SIM by the carrier?

I am using maxroam SIM. APN has been configured correctly and roaming is
enabled. We are seeing this issue on multiple devices.

Hi Viral,

MaxROAM piggy-backs on the Vodafone service and therefore will only work in
Europe.

Thanks

Comment #5 on issue 30935 by viralm...@chromium.org: Cannot connect to
Hi James,

Maxroam SIM works with R17. For R17, we need to enable mobile data roaming
and configure APN for SIM to work. For R21, we do not get the option to
enable mobile data roaming (Allow mobile data roaming is grayed out when
SIM is inserted).

Comment #7 on issue 30935 by jgla...@google.com: Cannot connect to
Allow mobile data roaming should be configurable by the owner of the
machine.

Cubic should be marked as requires roaming and so should always allow
roaming. (Is that in R20, I think).
Is this a MaxRoam sim, not cubic? We should update them too so that they
always allow roaming.

Can you get me the output of modem-status, list-devices and list-services?

Thanks,
-Jason

Does the same SIM work on R17? I know we asked MaxROAM to switch off the
test SIMs recently.

Can you let me know the SIM number? I'm pretty sure they have been
deactivated.
