Race condition when creating tab in closing window?

There seems to be a race condition when trying to create a tab in a
window that is closing (which ultimately results in a crash). Obviously,
you should probably not do that. But because it is possible, I thought I
should bring it to someone's attention.

I've attached a simple test extension (unpacked, zipped) which exhibits
this behavior. To test, simply do the following:

- unzip and install the extension
- open a new window
- navigate to some site (optional)
- close the tab

(Warning, will likely *crash* your browser, so save your work first,
backup important data, etc., just in case)

If you can crash the browser, you should file a bug at
http://crbug.com/new . What OS do you see this on? What version of
chrome?
