Hi, dev team!

I've got "pageAction" sample, and install it - once - with CWS. It was installed ok. (Chrome v. 25). But you can get any other sample, I am sure.

2. Then I change version from 0.1 to 0.2, upload and publish.

3. Now I got "manifest invalid" message. (I have tried on Linux and Windows, both from scratch).

Now I have a very interesting question: Does somebody work on a problem? What about some progress?

May be, not a bad idea to show them this topic - https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/forum/#!topic/chromium-apps/BgubZwnQMbo, too ?

They strugge more than a year with this bug, as far as I know? May be we can help them. Let us promote some "Donate" service for them. I hope, we can collect not a bad sum.

In any case, our warmest greetings to these brave and mighty people.

I've had this on five different extension updates today - four of them were fine after restarting the browser, one of them refused to go away for 30 mins until I re-incremented the version number.

Cheers,
Simon

You should wait about 10-15 minutes when you republish - sometimes it takes a bit for Chrome to clear its cache out.

I don't think this is a browser cache issue - I get this off a clean profile in main Chrome, dev Chrome and Canary.  I'm getting this error from people who have never installed the extension before.

Cheers,
Simon
