HTTP - how to send multiple pre-cached gzipped chunks?
|
| |
Lets say I have 2 individually gziped html chunks in memory. Can I send chunk1+chunk2 to HTTP client? Does any browser supports this? Or there is no way to do this and I have to gzip the whole stream not individual chunks? I want to serve to clients for example chunk1+chunk2 and chunk2+chunk1 etc... more »

Insecure content behavior on canary
|
| |
I noticed earlier in the week that canary builds were blocking javascript from running in an HTTP page that is in a frame in an HTTPS page (that is in a frame of a top-level HTTP page). [blocked] insecure content Oddly, I noticed that today it is not being blocked. I suspect this is just a bug, I haven't nailed down the details.... more »

Chromium image blocking
|
| |
24May2013 Hallo. Chromium would be better with image blocking like that which is native to Mozilla/Gecko. In M/G (& in Chromium) users can right click & select View Page Info, but the M/G Page Info popup has a "Media" tab and users can select images from certain originating servers - which means users can selectively block... more »

Please, do not add a "+1" or "Me too" or "Confirmed" (or similar) comment.... more »

Chromium cursor woes ...
|
| |
24May2013 Hallo. I find the Chromium "cursor" behavior inferior to other browsers. The cursor is sometimes/often "invisible" when tabbing through a webpage. (I cannot tell "where" the cursor is. I have to read the "statusbar popup" & guess ...) Clicking on a check box (for example) does not position the Chromium cursor... more »

Chromium contextmenu inconsistency
|
| |
24May2013 Hallo. It seems to me that Chromium does not handle the contextmenu consistently. Right-clicking (on a link, for example) always gives the same contextmenu. Hitting the AppsKey (in Windows) sometimes gives the same contextmenu as right-clicking but sometimes does not. It seems to me that hitting the AppsKey (in Windows)... more »

removing the "Welcome to Chrome" Screen
|
| |
Hey can someone help me out here? I have been asked to installed the Chrome browser in our computer labs and classrooms. I have downloaded the MSI and it installs fine. Our lab administrator's biggest quandry is the "Welcome to Chrome" screen and asking you to log into google. Has anyone one been able to block this PERMANENTLY? not just clicking the Skip for... more »
