No sound in Chrome Modern UI running on background

When i play audio on Chrome Modern UI (from youtube, grooveshark, whatever) and i am on Chrome everythings is fine. But, when i switch to other app, the sound turns on mute. Don't seems like a bug, cause the sound becomes mute with a fade out. And returns with a fade in. It's only me? It's a bug with the lifecycle of Modern UI apps?
