[chromium-discuss] Developer Tools not showing cookie headers

I hope this is the right place to post topics relating to Chrome
Developer Tools. If not, please advise where the appropriate place is.

I find it quite cumbersome to deal with debugging cookie issues using
Chrome Developer Tools. When I want to examine the contents of any
cookies, I have to:

1. Go to Tools -> Options
2. Click Content Settings
3. Click Show cookies and other site data
4. Type domain (i.e. "localhost")
5. Open up site drop down
6. Click on a cookie to see content

I would find it extremely useful if cookie information was included
within the Headers section for each Resource. I'd like to:

1. Open Developer Tools
2. Click on Resources tab
3. Click onto a request
4. View Headers tab for that request
5. See cookie information in Request Headers and Response Headers
sections

I'm surprised it isn't already there, as it seems quite natural to me.
Is there something I'm missing? Is there an extension to add this? If
not, how do I request this feature?

It's actually a thing that should be implemented in WebKit. They have
a long-standing bug entry for it:

Thanks, I'll follow that webkit bug then. Are there any extensions that would help with debugging cookie issues? I'm looking for a more immediate solution, as that bug has been around for a some time and I'm sure it will be a while until it is addressed. As I mentioned, looking up cookie information in Chrome is really cumbersome at the moment.

I was irritated by this as well. Then I noticed that if you go...

Developer Tools -> Storage -> Cookies -> (domain)

You can see and delete cookies.

Unfortunately, it only shows me what cookies exist right NOW, when I
look at the list. When I'm debugging a cookie issue, it would be nice
to see which requests send what cookies and which requests receive
which cookies. I'd like to be able to determine which requests cause
cookies to be created and deleted. For this reason, I feel it should
also be included in the Resources tab.

Regardless, your solution is better than what I was doing before, and
I appreciate the suggestion.
