wikipedia:-
"LSOs can be used by web sites to collect information on how people
navigate those web sites even if people believe they've restricted the
data collection.[4] More than half of the internet’s top websites use
LSOs to track users and store information about them.[5] There is
relatively little public awareness of LSOs, and they can usually not
be deleted by the cookie privacy controls in a web browser."

Right now we have to visit Adobe Flash site (
http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html
) to manage cookie settings. I'm pretty sure that mainstream users
don't know about this.

When we are using browser in Incognito/Private mode we expect that
after we close the Incognito mode all cookies/history etc are cleared
but in practice its not true. Can Chromium delete the new LSO at the
end (or periodically every few mins) of Private browsing session.

This should already be happening if you're running the latest version
of Flash (and judging by the Flash settings page, the internal version
bundled with Chrome should be 10.1.x)

http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer/articles/privacy_mode_fp10.1.html

"Starting with Flash Player 10.1, Flash Player actively supports the
browser's private browsing mode, managing data in local storage so
that it is consistent with private browsing. So when a private
browsing session ends, Flash Player will automatically clear any
corresponding data in local storage."

From the same page:

"Current versions of the following browsers support private browsing
integration with Flash Player 10.1 and later:

Google Chrome
Mozilla Firefox
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Apple Safari"

The LSOs from a private browsing session are deleted. However, they are only deleted after the browser is restarted. This is a different behavior from the way the rest of the incognito mode behaves where everything is wiped after the incognito window is closed (and some things get wiped before that). I think this is an issue as many people (myself included), leave chrome running for weeks, only restarting to apply updates.

A small clarification - "after the incognito window is closed" should be "after the last incognito window is closed". If you have multiple incognito windows, all of them must be closed in order to clear the data.
