Is there a brief writeup explaining how "chromoting" works? Looks like
there are plans to leverage the VP8 codec.

Nico,

The thread does not mention anything about how "chromoting" works. I'm
interested in understanding how this is different from remoting
protocols like VNC, RDP, ICA and ALP. A brief writeup will be useful
to gauge if this is vaporware or something useful.
