I'm running the new tab sync on the daily Linux builds. It does work, I
can see the open tabs of the other instances (aka devices) and can
select/instantiate individual tabs from the listing.

What I would like to be able to do is

* Select/instantiate all the tabs (or a selected set) of a different
instance at once rather than one at a time.

* Save the current tabs of the instance that I'm on in a file that I
can reload. If a different instance can retrieve my tabs, I should be
able to query my own and save them.

* Name each of my instances. They all come up labeled "Ubuntu 11.04".

This seems reasonable given we have that for bookmark folders; I'd
suggest raising a bug to request it.

Thank you for your kind words, I am always happy to help.

I hope I did not make you unsubscribe! ;)
I thought you were trying to unsubscribe because you sent an empty message, which is usually an indication of a user wanting to unsubscribe.

Opening all of the tabs of a selected device was recently implemented in the canary (there is an arrow next to the name of the device with a "Collapse all" and an "Open all" options).

Selecting multiple tabs to open is not there, though, but you can middle click on the entries to do almost that.

RIght, middle-clicking or ctrl-clicking the open tab links on Canary will now let you open multiple tabs in a row without the "other devices" menu closing :).
