Hi All,
I was just wondering if the Chrome code for iPad already available in
the current trunk. I found some ios related folders but am not sure if
the entire code for ios/ipad is available in trunk.

Can someone please share any info on this? and if the code is not
available, any update available regarding when the code would be up-
streamed?

Thanks.

I also forgot to mention that I had found some code in few directories
under OS_IOS conditional, but I am just not able to conclude if the
complete code required to build for iPhone/iPad is available in trunk

Thanks.

Chrome for iOS is currently in a private repo. It's in the process of being merged upstream, so you are seeing some small pieces but not the whole thing.

http://www.chromium.org/developers/how-tos/build-instructions-ios
describes how to build the (few) bits that are there.

Hi,
Thanks for the response, is it possible to get rough tentative timeline when this would be up-streamed?

And yes, I had seen that link but just wanted to know if we have everything on the trunk..
Thanks.

As with most software engineering tasks, it's difficult to predict how
long things will take. Also, for legal reasons, we try to avoid
commenting on events that will take place in the future.

Any updates on when it will be possible to build Chrome for iOS?

As the previous mails in this thread suggested, we do not comment on
how long things will take.
