The main problem is that the fix was merged in 21.0.1157.0 but the beta  
channel, at least for Linux, is still at Version 20.0.1132.21 beta that  
came out (or at least was updated on my ubuntu64) like the day after 1157  
was mentioned here.

Also, to make a stupid remark, "it seems to me that" people don't read past  
messages in this issue. If they did they'd find plenty of workarounds AND  
that the fix is already done and committed but waiting for an official  
release ;-D
