New issue 44448 by awillmott: Plugins lose mouse events on drag outside pane
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=44448

Chrome Version : 5.0.375.38
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
Safari 4: OK
Firefox 3.x: OK
IE 7:
IE 8:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open up Google maps, select street view
2. Begin a rotation drag on the view pane
3. Drag the cursor outside the view pane and release mouse.

What is the expected result?
The pane gets a mouse up event and stops rotating.

What happens instead?
The pane is stuck thinking the mouse is down, moving the cursor back over
the pane triggers
further rotation until the user clicks again.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

The bug does not occur on Chrome on Windows.

Presumably when the cursor leaves the flash plugin view pane, the mouse up
for the drag that is
begun within the pane is not correctly passed back to it.
