On the pages downloading GMail, Angry Bird, etc, there is a tick near
the website.
For example, there is a tick near "from google.com" on the top of the
GMail page in Web store.
There is not such tick for "from exten...@chromium.org".
Do anyone know what's the meaning of the "tick"?
Is it meaning that the website/account is verified somehow by Google?
If yes, how to apply the tick?
It is strange that Angry Bird and Planets VS Zombine have such ticks
while Google Map and Picasa do not...
Thanks in advance.

It means the extension uploader has verified they are the "owner" of the domain using Webmaster Tools. Once you verify a domain using the same Google account it will get listed on extension settings pages where it can be selected to be shown.
