Any news on the launch date for the app store? Last I heard it was mid-
october, but I guess it has been pushed back?

Does web app support in Chrome stable still require a flag? I'm on dev
channel so I can't check.

If the stable channel still requires a flag to install apps then I
don't see how the store can launch until Chrome 8 (end of November),
unless they push a minor update just to turn this on.

It is enabled by default on the stable channel.
