How can I set the App 2.0 zoom level?

In the normal chrome window, the user can easily change the page zoom for a specific site, and the page will remember the zoom level.

But in Apps 2.0, the App takes the default browser zoom level, and does not provide an easy way to change it and store the new zoom level in the browser.

Any ideas?

I don't think there's currently a way to do this. Issue 153568 is tracking this problem.
