Hi there,

First up, we're nearly a month old on the Chrome Web Store, and we're
absolutely loving it. Thanks Google for making a fantastic browser,
and on top of that providing a platform for us web developers to
feature our products!

I have a question pertaining to user reviews. We've picked up lots of
active paying users over the last couple of years - most of them
Chrome users - and we'd love to get their unbiased reviews and use-
cases next to our app to give new users balanced idea as to what to
expect.

Is it ok for us to ask them to do so? There may be a flurry of new
review submissions when we do so, and last thing we want is to be
dropped from the store by violating an unseen rule!

Thanks!

~jason

Hi Jason

Great to hear you've a good experience of Chrome and the Chrome Web Store!

we'd love to get their unbiased reviews and use-cases next to our app

Just to be clear -- by 'next to your app', do you mean by adding quotes from reviews to the detailed description on your app page in the store?

Sam

Hey Sam,

Sorry, I meant that we'd like to ask our current users to submit their
ratings and reviews for our app, but before we do that we just want to
make sure that it's alright to do so by Chrome Web Store standards.

We won't incentivise them in any way to do so, and will just ask for
their honest, unbiased reviews :-) Is this ok?
